President Donald Trump has chosen a Connecticut woman to be ambassador to Chile.
The White House announced that the president intends to nominate Leora Rosenberg Levy to be “Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Chile.”
Levy serves as the Republican National Committeewoman for Connecticut.
She was born in Havana, Cuba and escaped with her family in 1960, according to her biography on the CT GOP website
